About eightbysix

eightbysix is a Denver based design studio, with a passion for creatively solving small and medium business' marketing problems.

It's founder, Chief Creative Officer, Michael Propp, has been creating and executing award-winning solutions for clients over the past 12 years. Having worked for Forum21, Amherst Reeves, Henry Gill, Ianni Group, BIAS Media, and most recently SpireMedia, he brings years of agency experience to the table.

eightbysix primarily works with small to medium sized businesses to enhance their online experience. Our approach to online solutions begins with a cost-effective, creatively-designed, and impactful website, built with a robust, easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS). Our strategy will put you in control of your own website editing, allowing your site to adapt and grow along with your business, while helping you stretch your marketing dollars. 

Our experience in designing for all types of media allows us to create more than just your new website. We can bring your brand's new look and feel to life in everything from print advertising and outdoor, to trade-show materials and packaging. History

Where did the name eightbysix come from?
Long, long ago when computer monitors were small, and real estate on a web page was even smaller, 800x600 resolution was the standard website design size. All web geek nostalgia aside, We thought it was a cool idea for a studio name and shortened it up to just "8x6 Design." And like that, our company was born. We wanted to "stay true to the standard," but over the years, the brand has shifted to the full spelling "eightbysix" for consitency on all medium levels including the most important promotional tool, our url—eightbysix.com.
